Healing when and where you need it.



As a Rhode Island Licensed Mental Health Counselor working in the mental health field, it became apparent to me that not everyone heals with words. Some times catharsis works and some times it doesn't. For many clients however, being forced to  discuss traumatic events  can be re-traumatizing.

 

That doesn't mean they're not ready, it may just mean that what is available isn't right for them.

Have you ever gotten a cold sore when you were angry or stressed, or lower back pain when you felt unsupported in life or depressed? Like water under pressure, our emotions always find a way out.

 

Although you are welcome to begin with your life's traumas , you don't have to. You choose. It is my belief that everyone has the answers to their own problems. I see myself as the flashlight  you may sometimes need to pick up  when you become overwhelmed by the darkness of your own challenges.
 

South County Massage and coaching is hinged upon the body mind spirit connection.  It doesn't matter where you begin, work in one area will translate to change to another.

 

I believe in meeting people where they are; because of that I offer the unique options of phone, internet or office based services.
